Here club, festival and event
organisers can access a range of resources to use in the promotion of their
concerts.
The A4 posters are in pdf format (HELP)
to download and print with a suitable space for overprinting or pasting on the
venue details, and MS Word format to add venue details before printing. The pictures are in a high definition format suitable for
incorporating into flyers and leaflets.
Clicking on a thumbnail will
open that file in a new window. For the pictures, right click to save.
(Alternatively, right-click any thumbnail and "save target as . .").
Suitable quotes for inclusion in publicity materials may also be found in the Reviews page and a list of festival appearances is here.
Technical
Specification
A
good quality sound system, preferably operated from the rear of the room by a
competent sound engineer, is an essential ingredient for a John Wright's Band
performance. The band uses Mackie SRM 450 powered speakers, a Behringer
Xenyx 2222 desk and 3 powered stage monitors, to provide 3 separate monitor
mixes. The band uses a minimum of 8 XLR DI inputs in addition to the 3 vocal
channels. Phantom power is required.
The
venue is requested to provide a similar system or larger (though they can manage
with only 2 monitor mixes). If there are any
doubts please make contact before the performance so that the band can augment
the system with some of their own equipment.
